Solo SaaS Friday Ops Checklist (Pre–$10k MRR)
A 30-minute Friday review you can run with a spreadsheet, Notion, or paper. This is a process checklist, not a promise of $10k MRR.
Who this is for
Solo SaaS founders still doing outreach, support, shipping, and pricing themselves—especially before the operating rhythm is repeatable.
Before you start (2 minutes)
- Timer set to 30 minutes
- MRR sheet open (or a notepad if you do not have one yet)
- Notion / board tool open (or paper)
- Kill one distraction tab
The checklist
A. MRR & runway (8 minutes)
- Enter Prior Ending MRR
- Log New / Churned / Expansion (0 is fine)
- Compute Net New + Ending MRR
- Update cash, burn, and revenue offset
- Write months of runway at the top of today’s notes
B. Pipeline (8 minutes)
- Every open lead has a stage
- Every open lead has one next action
- Every next action has a due date
- Close or delete rows with no action for 14+ days
- Star the top 3 actions for next week
C. Support (5 minutes)
- Anything older than 48 hours without a reply?
- Separate bugs (issue tracker) from questions (inbox)
- Write “will fix/reply by __” where needed
D. Ship / content (5 minutes)
- What actually shipped this week?
- What’s on next week’s calendar?
- Kill one optional post if it crowds a real ship
E. Pricing (2 minutes)
- Log Keep / Kill / Iterate — including “no change”
- Tie one note to a real win or loss reason
F. One Kill (2 minutes)
- Name one channel, feature tease, or meeting that dies this week
After the review
Write three lines only:
- Top pipeline action for Monday:
- Top support commitment:
- What you killed:
If a lead has no next action and no due date, it is not a lead—close it or delete it.
